Directions
For the Buffalo Chicken Wings:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt and pepper.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil (for easy cleanup).
- Bake the wings for 40 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are crispy.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the buffalo sauce by mixing the hot sauce, melted butter, white vinegar, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper in a saucepan over low heat until combined.
- Remove the wings from the oven and place them in a large bowl.
- Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until they are evenly coated.
For the Bleu Cheese Dressing:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, lemon juice, and garlic powder until smooth.
- Fold in the crumbled bleu cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Refrigerate the dressing for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serving Suggestions:
- Serve the hot buffalo wings with the bleu cheese dressing on the side for dipping. You can also add celery and carrot sticks for a crunchy side. Enjoy!
