- 1 package of mini sausages (e.g., cocktail sausages or hot dogs)
- 1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)
- 1 tablespoon of poppy seeds or sesame seeds (optional)
- Ketchup or mustard (for dipping, optional)
Directions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate it into triangles following the perforations.
- Slice the Dough (if needed): If using the crescent roll dough, you can cut each triangle into smaller triangles for mini-sized wraps.
- Wrap the Sausages: Place a mini sausage at the wide end of each triangle, and roll it up towards the pointed end.
- Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the wrapped sausages seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
- Apply Egg Wash (optional): In a small bowl, whisk the egg and brush it over the tops of the wrapped sausages for a golden finish. Sprinkle with poppy or sesame seeds if desired.
